Low Maintenance Air Filter. The K&N intake system utilizes Filtercharger air filter that is manufactured from a high-flow cotton gauze material. This air filter is washable and re-usable, and offers superior filtration compared to a traditional paper material. It has an oversized conical shape, and lasts up to 100,000 miles before needing to be cleaned.

Well-Constructed. Made from high-density crosslink polyethylene, the inlet tubing of this Series 57 FIPK intake has been mandrel-formed to ensure it holds up well to heavy use. This construction also results in cooler air delivery compared to metal tubes. A parabolic diverter chamber boosts air velocity while ensuring better air flow.

High Flowing Air Box. A tough polyethylene tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and air temperature sensor.  This uniquely shaped air box pulls in cooler air outside into the custom molded intake for a guaranteed power gain and quicker throttle response.
